RAW had a strong showing this week, setting up some very interesting matches and possibilites for next week

Matt Hardy vs Sheamus – Winner decides Extreme Rules match stipulation

Sheamus attempted to finally get one over on the Hardy Boyz

Matt started off with a headlock on Sheamus. The crowd showed their vocal support for Matt. There were even loud chants of “Brother Nero”. Sheamus got the advantage after he started the chest slams. He even shoved him against the barricade.

After the break, The Celtic Warrior hit the White Noise on Matt, who kicked out. Matt Hardy did manage to get control again, however. Matt managed to escape a couple of pins, and Jeff Hardy jumped in the way of Cesaro who tried to distract him. This distracted Sheamus, who turned back only to be met with a Twist Of Fate and a pin.

After the match, Charly Caruso asked Matt what stipulation he chose, and he said that they would meet Cesaro & Sheamus at Extreme Rules inside a steel cage!
