WWE News: Matt Hardy wants The Young Bucks in WWE

Are The Young Bucks about to follow Matt and Jeff Hardy to WWE?

The VESSEL of MMH Hardy seems to have unfinished business with ‘The Bucks of Youth’

                 What’s the story?

Matt Hardy recently stated on his Twitter account, in his own special way, that he would love to see The Young Bucks join him and his brother Jeff in the WWE.

                   The Background

The Hardy Boys’ final feud before they made their return to WWE was against The Young Bucks in Ring of Honor.
At ROH’s Manhattan Mayhem VI on March 4th, Matt and Jeff made a surprise appearance after The Young Bucks’ match and challenged them to an impromptu match for their Tag Team titles there and then, to which the Bucks agreed.
The Hardys would go on to capture the ROH Tag Team championships that night before dropping the belts back to Matt and Nick Jackson at Supercard of Honor XI in a ladder match on April 1st, which was the night before they made their triumphant WWE comeback at WrestleMania 33.

        The heart of the matter

Matt Hardy posted the tweet in response to an article on the best tag teams of 2017. The Hardyz have a great deal of respect for the Young Bucks, so it comes as no surprise that they’d like to work with them in WWE.

What’s next?
The Young Bucks are unlikely to be WWE bound anytime soon after reportedly signing a new two-year contract at the end of last year that will see them continue to work for both ROH and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
After regaining the ROH Tag Team championships from The Hardys, The Bucks are set to defend the titles against Tetsuya Bushi and Tetsuya Naito of Los Ingobernables de Japon at the upcoming War of the Worlds event on May 12th

                        Author’s take

As great as it would be to see The Young Bucks in a WWE ring, I do have fears that it would be a watered down version of Matt and Nick Jackson if they were to sign with the company. I can’t see Vince McMahon giving them as much creative freedom as they have now, and I very much doubt that he’d allow them to use the ’Suck It!’ taunt, especially in the PG era.
The Bucks are self-made superstars in the pro-wrestling industry and are making real money without the WWE machine behind them. Although coming to the biggest wrestling promotion in the world would expose them to a wider audience and set up a host of dream matches for the fans, they are doing great work in New Japan and ROH, and I’m interested to see what else they can do outside of WWE.
